Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of our taste testings:

==Taste first==
Above all else, we only recommend a sausage if it [[Wikipedia:Notability|tastes good]]. It must be made with [[Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources|quality ingredients]] that deliver a [[Wikipedia:Notability#General notability guideline|full flavor experience]].

==Sausage factories==
During all taste testing, judges are to remain neutral in regards to [[WP:SURMOUNTABLE|how the sausage is made]]. Issues with a sausage makers [[Wikipedia:Conflict of interest|connections]] or [[Wikipedia:Paid editing (policy)|trading]] in the farming and livestock markets should be taken up with the [[Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard|Sausage Integrity Board]] or the [[Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents|Sausage Makers Senate]], and have no bearing on the [[Wikipedia:Notability|taste]] of the sausage.

==Packaging==
We are not here to judge the quality of the [[Wikipedia:Arguments to avoid in deletion discussions#Surmountable problems|packaging]]. All sausages should be [[Wikipedia:Amnesia test|removed]] from their packaging and placed in the standard [[black box]] before tasting. Issues with [[Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion|markings]] on sausage casings can be fixed with our patent-pending [[Help:Editing|sausage casing cleaning process]].
