Spring Valley is a census-designated place (CDP) in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. The population was 1,143 as of the 2020 census.[3]

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, Spring Valley has a total area of 1.019 square miles (2.64 km2), all land.[1]

As of the 2020 census, Spring Valley had a population of 1,143. The median age was 55.6 years. 15.0% of residents were under the age of 18 and 31.8% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 101.6 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 100.8 males age 18 and over.[4][5]

Education

Residents are in the Mayer Unified School District.[6]

Spring Ridge Academy is an all-girls boarding school, for troubled teens, that was founded in 1996.

Yavapai County Free Library District operates the Spring Valley Library.[7]
