On 6-7 March 1953 it was published anonymously in many newspapers, for example Pravda, Leningradskaya Pravda, Boevaya Vakhta, Molodoy Stalinets, Molot, Volzhskaya Kommuna, Krymskaya Pravda

Also it was published in Ogonyok magazine, № 10, 1953.

The author indicated in Biography of Stalin in the TASS encyclopedia.

This funeral portrait was sent by special mail to the newspaper offices to publish the pictures. [1]
