English: World War I era poster in Yiddish to encourage food conservation. Caption (translated) "Food will win the war - You came here seeking freedom, now you must help to preserve it - Wheat is needed for the allies - waste nothing." Color lithograph.

Traduction du texte: « La nourriture pour vaincre la guerre - Vous êtes venu ici pour trouver la liberté, vous devez aider à la conserver - Il faut du blé pour les alliés - Ne gaspillez rien. » Lithographie en couleurs.
Deutsch: Amerikanisches Plakat in Jiddisch aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg, das zum umsichtigen Umgang mit Lebensmitteln aufruft. Übersetzung der Bildunterschrift: „Nahrung wird den Krieg entscheiden - Ihr seid hier her gekommen, um die Freiheit zu finden, jetzt müsst ihr helfen, sie zu bewahren - Die Alliierten benötigen Getreide - Verschwendet nichts.“ Lithographie in Farbe.
