Riddleville is a town in Washington County, Georgia, United States. The population was 80 in 2020.
History
[edit | edit source]The community was named after Anderson Riddle, the original owner of the town site.[5] The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Riddleville as a town in 1859.[6]
Geography
[edit | edit source]Riddleville is located at 32°54′24″N 82°39′52″W / 32.90667°N 82.66444°W (32.906541, -82.664385).[7] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), of which 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2) is land and 1.28% is water.
Demographics
[edit | edit source]At the 2000 census there were 124 people, 39 households, and 34 families living in the town. By 2020, its population was 80.
