Robertsfors Municipality (Template:Langx) is a municipality in Västerbotten County in northern Sweden. Its seat is located in Robertsfors.
History
[edit | edit source]In 1759 the small village Edfastmark became Robertsfors Bruk. It was the Irishman John Jennings and his brother-in-law, the Scotsman Robert Finlay, who founded the new ironworks which also got its name, Robertsfors, from Robert Finlay.[1]

[edit | edit source]This is a demographic table based on Robertsfors Municipality's electoral districts in the 2022 Swedish general election sourced from SVT's election platform, in turn taken from SCB official statistics.[3]
In total there were 6,781 residents, including 5,172 Swedish citizens of voting age.[3] 63.1% voted for the left coalition and 35.7% for the right coalition. Indicators are in percentage points except population totals and income.
