Walnut Grove is a town in Walton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,322 in 2020.
History
[edit]The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Walnut Grove as a town in 1905.[4] The community was named for a grove of walnut trees near the original town site.[5]
Geography
[edit]According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.9 km2), all land.

Education
[edit]Public education in Walnut Grove is administered by Walton County School District.[7] The district operates Walnut Grove Elementary School and Walnut Grove High School within the city.
